If you say you’re going to do 10 reps and then stop at 10 regardless of how you feel, then you are on a path that you will lose control over quickly! What matters to your mind/body is how they “feel” after and during a set! Not the “fact” that you’ve completed the number of reps and/or sets that you told yourself you would do! So is it better or worse to do lightweights vs. heavyweights? The fact is that it “mostly” doesn’t matter! Your body will respond equally as well doing 30 reps as opposed to 7 as long as you “feel the same after a set or reps! However, I do both and mix things up because the mind/body gets used to the same thing all the time and if you don’t “change things up,” then your body won’t continue to respond in the same manner (ie. Muscle mass & strength etc.)! Thanks, “The”Trainer/Inside Out Fitness
