My goal this calendar year is still to run 6000 miles to celebrate my 60th birthday! However, me tracking my progress has changed totally and “for myself it represents a great improvement! Please read on … I have been tracking daily progress and I was going to add it up at the end of June but I have decided that I’ll no longer keep daily / weekly/ monthly or yearly totals! Why? Because I have decided that I have trained my mind/body well enough over the years that I can keep my eye on the goal but not track constantly and still be able to give 100% effort every day not knowing exactly where I’m at in the total miles! my 50th birthday!
I’m currently running 6000 miles to celebrate my 60th!
When I turn 70 I’ll run 7000 miles!
Then …. 8000 for 80th
9000 for 90th … 10,000 for 100th
Yes I realize at some point I won’t complete it but what matters is that I try!
