“When someone asks me to set them up on a “routine,” I explain to them that if they are asking me to tell them what to do and when to keep repeating it then that’s not something I do! For me and my clients, we start with a move and then depending on how that went, we create our next movement! That way everything is always new to us (that’s how the body responds and grows) and then we “build” upon that and never repeat over and over the same things every day. When you do that(keep repeating), growth is severely limited and what you do soon becomes very boring and you are not inspired!” Read below what the great martial artist, Bruce Lee says about “routines.” — “The” Trainer
A good teacher can never be fixed in a routine… each moment requires a sensitive mind that is constantly changing and constantly adapting. A teacher must never impose this student to fit his favourite pattern; a good teacher functions as a pointer, exposing his student’s vulnerability (and) causing him to explore both internally and finally integrating himself with his being. Martial art should not be passed out indiscriminately.
