- Text: I really enjoyed this film because of the outdoors atmosphere and because it’s based on a true story! I saw the negative reviews and I think I’m starting to understand what, on this website, the negative and positive reviews mean for me and I’m learning better how I can use them to determine what movies I’ll end up enjoying the most. I will say that one thing might help and that is to have more choices for labeling type of movies. This movie was labeled “thriller” and I think some folks saw that and was expecting more action than was in this movie. I felt the acting was very good in this film and I would recommend it to folks that are looking for a film that is based on a true story and enjoy watching “outdoors” movies with beautiful scenes that don’t have a ton of people in it. What website do you use? I’ve been trying to watch all Oscar nominated films. I thought the DeCaprio movie and Jordan movie were terrible and they have so many nominations.
I haven’t watched any new films. I usually wait a few years and by that time I can find out more about them and whether I want to spend time on one of them or not. So many new ones aren’t that good and I’d rather not spend my time finding out. The website I use to look up what others say about movies is “IMDB”…
