What skills or lessons have you learned recently?
I’m not sure what gave me this idea but I’m off and running with it! Our family (probably like many) never had what I’d consider great communication skills especially between ourselves and why not do this? What purpose would it do to take this stuff to my grave? None, so that’s another reason I’m doing it!

We have lived about 2500 miles apart since 2001 so what I did was just think about our pasts and what “positive things” do I remember throughout their lives! When I got this idea I thought it was going to be tough to come up with enough positive thoughts to make the video but it’s amazing how many things I had known about them but just never passed it on! I mean what was I going to do with this valuable information? Take it to my grave? Once I had those thoughts then I thought why?

So far I’ve gotten a response from one of my brothers and it was very positive! He said that it was the best comments he’s ever gotten! I told him that I’m sure his other friends and family think the same way but just aren’t comfortable communicating that to him! I’m really glad I did this!
