Here’s a true story about “choices!” – “The” Trainer Outdoor Training Specialist /Consultant- @61!

Here’s a true story: I was an RN in CCU in Kentucky and I was dating a respiratory therapist and she smoked (large hospital and over 90% of respiratory therapist smoked!). She invited me to supper one Sunday and I started talking to her dad. He said he had smoked for over 50 years and had tried to quit using all the latest stuff, like gum and patches etc. He said he just couldn’t stop! On Wednesday of that week, he became my patient after having a stroke. He told me that he was really scared and that if he lived, he’d never smoke again! Well, he did live and he never smoked again and he eventually died but had never started smoking again! My point is most people could probably quit but like him, it seems they have to be scared! Don’t wait for that great of fear, learn from this true story about learning from others before you make the wrong decisions! – “The” Trainer Outdoor Training Specialist /Consultant- @61!
